Living Things Festival presents BALEINES By Compagnie Moscou-Bonte

Video Installation // Belgium
January 23 at the Kelowna Community Theatre
Showings at 2, 3, 4, and 5pm
For all audiences.

An immersion. A drifting of the mind, a siren's reverie that overturns fluid dynamics and invents the laws of weightlessness. Sunken cathedrals, faceless beauties wandering endlessly on a motionless journey. Stardust in the ocean's womb, up and down, the vertical slumber of whales.

Baleines is an invitation to detach yourself briefly from the clutches of global connectivity, settle comfortably into chairs, couches, and cushions, surrounded by soft darkness, and immerse yourself in these extraordinary images and sounds. Unforgettable beauty.

Baleines has won:
Inspiring Art Award at the MANIFEST Dance Film Festival (Tamil Nadu, India) - 2026
Best Cinematography Award at the Breaking Walls Festival (Cairo, Egypt) - 2026
Best International Film at the DESASSOSSEGO Video-Dance Short Film Festival (Porto, Portugal) - 2025
Best Film at the Bucharest International Dance Film Festival (Romania) - 2025
Best Video-Dance Film at the D'Ohlar Itinerant Dance and Video Festival (Brazil) - 2025
