Opening Night

Metro Hub + Mary Irwin Theatre at the Rotary Centre for the Arts

Kick off OKIFF with an evening of film, community and conversation!

The night begins at 6:00 PM at the Metro Hub with a welcome beverage, an Okanagan Festival Blessing and a performance of the Okanagan Song by Anona Fawn Kampe and a special guest, along with festival announcements, prizes and time to mingle.

At 7:00 PM, we’ll make the short walk (1 block) to the Mary Irwin Theatre for an Exclusive BC Screening of:

Nothing to See Here: Watts — A Documentary by the People of Watts, followed by a live Q&A with a special guest from the film and others connected to the project.

After the screening, head back to the Metro Hub for an informal gathering to keep the conversation going, meet new people and celebrate the start of the festival.

9:30 PM - Post-film gathering at Metro Hub

Mary Irwin Theatre at the Rotary Centre for the Arts event tickets include a $2.36 Capital Improvement Fee (CIF). A service fee is added for box office costs, card processing, and taxes. OKIFF Opening Night tickets and their applicable fees are non-refundable.
