Clayton March presents

FORWARD x BEST DAY EVER

Kelowna Adventure Film Night

Join us at the Mary Irwin Theatre for a night of mountain biking, surfing, skiing, and adaptive adventure with a double feature of "Forward" and "Best Day Ever"!

"Forward" is a documentary celebrating the power of adaptive adventure through the story of Clay March, who was born 45 days before his triplet siblings and lives with cerebral palsy. Raised by their “super-mom,” Joanne, Clay and his brother Tanner grew up believing that disability should never limit experience. Now, the brothers are taking on their biggest pursuits yet: big wave surfing and backcountry skiing. What begins as a personal mission evolves into something larger - a call to reimagine adventure not as something reserved for the few, but a shared belief that outdoor exploration is for everyone, regardless of ability.

"Best Day Ever" follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they tackle the daily challenges of disability—and find joy, connection, and belonging in Vermont's mountain biking community. Set in the Green Mountains, this is a story of grit, independence, and what’s possible when community and creativity come together. At its heart is the world’s first fully adaptive trail network built to prove that everyone belongs outside.

Following the films, stick around for a Q&A with members of the cast and crew of "Forward" and a behind-the-scenes look at the stories, people, and adventures that brought the films to life.

This is more than a film screening, it’s a night to bring our outdoor communities together, share a couple of great stories, and celebrate the people who make adventure possible.
